Kid Hum Review
So it looks like I'm in the game of album reviewing. LOL.. Nah just joking it feels pretty dope to write about peeps music.
My dude Kid Hum sent me his latest record Fossil Fuel.. It's a all instrumental album. I really dig it. Thanks for sharing it with me.
He is the first to send me anything to write about or post up. So i guess I'm open for business on reviewing. Also Note* I'm listening to this record on the new Dr. Dre Beat by Dre Headphones so I hear everything to the T. :)
Here are my big winners for Fossil Fuel:
Imagine - love the reggae in it, feels like I'm traveling
Church - just feels holly
Clonzepam - I'm a Jazz Head so i love the horns - I could do with the drops in this song.
Rain - The beat is dope again not a fan of the drops, yet the beat is still dope
Side B - One Of the best sounding beats and very clean.
The Joints I left out are at times a little noisy for me, and the drums could be beefed up a little more. Overall I though this was a great concept album and I look forward to hearing more from Kid Hum. Now Can we get a beat?

LINCOLN FINANCIAL Top 40/Rhythmic KQKS (KS 107.5)/DENVER ups APD/MD JOHN E. KAGE to the PD post. KAGE has been handling programming duties since the departure of former KQKS PD and now KYLD (WiLD 94.9)/SAN FRANCISCO PD CAT COLLINS in OCTOBER 2008. KAGE has been APD/MD at KQKS since 1999.
In a press release, LINCOLN FINANCIAL/DENVER Sr. VP/GM BOB CALL commented, "After an extensive national search for the next KQKS Program Director, we realized the top candidate was right here." CALL added, "JOHN E. KAGE fully understands this market, the staff, all that makes KQKS a special radio station and most importantly, our culture. He’s certainly earned the chance to program this amazing radio station."

What's poppin? If yall haven't checked my dude Q's Blog you need to do so. He always has good information on the local scene in Colorado. Q's Blog . Recently he posted one of the Infinite Mindz practice sessions. It sparked up a lot talk about me :). I just wanted to share with you the site for you can check the comments. Here is what I have to say about the situation.
Infinite Mindz was doing their thing without me. Spoke brought the group to my attention. I was vibing off the joint they did with Denver's legendary Spellbinder. I found Spoke through Myspace and I asked him for his music to be played on the mixtapeshow when we still had the show. After that he start just crushing his music. As a fan of his music it was I was only right we teamed and did shows together and music.
After a horrible show with Dent and Spoke opening for Nas. I was really not into getting down with Emcee's or groups anymore. Yet I always knew Spoke still had something in him and he introduced me to Infinite Mindz. With that these men where stand up guys and I knew I could relate with them more than just music but as friends.
So yall make music with friends and so do I. These dudes have gotten there shows on there own it has nothing to do with me. I'm just happy to rock shows and do some good Hip Hop Music.
Just cause I'm not doing Hip Hop Music with your group dose not make me less of a fan of your music. I enjoy our scene's music and everyone apart of it. I may like certain things you don't like and vice versa. Yet at the end of the day respect me and I will do the same for you. I don't care what type of music you do just keep that respect and see how far that can get you.

Kepner Middle School located at 911 S. Hazel Court home of the Dolphins Brought back a little over 300 forms. Rishel Middle School located at 451 S. Tejon St. Home of the Wranglers did not do so hot they brought back around 26 forms.

Well It's my turn to finally say it to someone in my family! The cool thing it's my real cousin and I love saying it! That's my cousin!!!! I'm proud of him!!

It's cinco de mayo, woo hoo. At least that's how I used to be every cinco de mayo weekend. Man I remember always wanting to cruise federal ave. Which is a famous street here in Denver. It's crazy how the street became popular. I know my bro used to cruise 38th ave back in the day. I also used to cruise Berkley park to Pepsi to 6th then the next stop was Ruby Hill. We didn't go to the last stop because, we were from the wrong side of town. Those days used to be fun. I remember the first crazy Cinco De Mayo on Fedz. The Police came out in riot gear it was nuts. They shut fedz dow thats when everyone just started cruising Sherdian blvd and I-25 the highway I think that year was 96. I recall going downtown to slang my mixtapes my bro fienz and I. These weren't CD's I was slangin they were actual tapes. I used to sell a ton and used to get a shit load of phone numbers from the ladies. Man those were the days. So cinco de mayo has came and past this year, and for some reason I'm just not as hype as I used to be. Saturday I went to a birthday party and Sunday I worked on my lawn and edited the new www.beatsource.com/podcast . Man am I getting old? I wonder why I'm not as excited as I once was? It's not like I ever had a dope car to cruise in when I was young. I used to roll my pops truck. Who know's I was just thinking out out loud today. Happy Cinco De Mayo.
